+1 for disgust over this issue! I have no future interest in Logitech products for personal or work use. While I can't realistically state 'Live by Windows, Die by Windows', your definitely loosing customers over your lack of timely Apple support based on the size of this growing thread of complaints.

Other users have indicated that they have called Logitech support and have been informed that they will only release an update for Lion users that's natively 64-bit if enough users complain. If you use the Harmony Software and have an Apple system, please post here that you require them to release an update to be able to use their product. If they want us to complain, then let the complaining begin.

Thanks.

I am a Logitech remote and it is very upsetting that Logitech will not support Lion. For the $349 I spent on the remote I could have purchased an AppleTV and a iPhone as a remote and still have $50 leftover.

I've been a long-time Logitech user, and I've bought a lot of high end products from them in the past, including the Space Pilot Pro, the Logitech MX, and the Logitech Harmony One.

If Logitech won't support OS X Lion, however, I have no problem taking my business elsewhere. There are other peripheral companies out there that would love to have some of Logitech's marketshare.

Is Logitech nuts? An update to the second biggest desktop OS in the world requires complaints to be acknowledged?

I've taken this OS X update as an opporunity to weed out all the sub-par software from my system. I'm willing to get rid of hardware too Logitech.

This is unbelievable. The harmony software itself is bad enough as it is, but not even supporting it on Lion??? Bad move. Our home theatre system depends on the Harmony remote, and having to install Windows just to program the remote is completely unacceptable.

I think this is a great opportunity for Logitech to revamp their remote programming software. For the longest time it's been some awkward hybrid between a web interface and native software. I understand this is the cheapest way out of coding something for multiple platforms but it's also the most frustrating for the end user. I've personally made recommendations to buy harmony remotes in the past but I'm hesitant to follow through because of the programming software. I think Logitech has a great opportunity to make native software that is easier to use, faster, and much more in line with their remote's philosophy of convenience. Please take this opportunity to improve on an already amazing product and build a 64 bit Lion compatible software.
