I expected these speakers to have powerful bass and a rich, clear sound. My subwoofer emits a tiny vibration even on full bass. I'm not impressed with the sound either which is not very clear. If the subwoofer was to work, the speakers emit such a weak sound I suspect the bass would drown out the music.
Could the plugs, cables, remote or jack be causing this? I don't think this is normal and would like feedback from others on whether the speakers are defective, especially people who own the Z-2300.
Thanks

Have you tried them on a different sound source? Like an MP3 Player.
Mine are quite loud when driven by my LCD TV's headphone output as mine has no Line Level Audio Outputs.
You may want to check that none of the pins got bent in the 15 pin remote connector when you connected it to the main sub.

Yes I've tried three different sound sources. I will check the pins when I get a chance. Can that affect the sound quality though? It's not the volume that bothers me, that's great even, it's the dreadful sound quality and tiny bass.
Have you found these with your speakers or are you satisfied with them?
Thanks

I doubt the pins would make them sound tinny.
I misread your post and thought the whole system was weak sounding.
I am not going for great sound on my low end LCD TV. Just a better than the ones in the unit and not a lets see if the bass can knock dishes off the shelf type of user.
For me the bass is fine. Others may have other thoughts.

Thanks.
I'm the same. I don't really need a great sound but I would like to be satisfied with the bass considering the unit has very powerful wattage.

If i want a replacement within warranty should I ask Logitech or the company I bought it from?
Thanks

May depend on the vendor you bought them from.
If it is within their return or exchange policy they maybe the choice.
If not then Logitech would be the choice.
