X-240 subwoofer making noise

Hi. I just purchased X-240 speakers for my computer and ipod. I installed them and tried them. At the beggining there was no problem, they sound really nice, but after a few songs, the subwoofer started doing a very anoying noise, something like a hum. Now this is the only sound the subwoofer produces, the other two speakers work well, but I can't hear any bass from the subwoofer, just the noise. I tried to solve it by rotating the plug of the speakers and of the computer, in case it was the polarity, but I didn't get any better result. The sound is the same with the ipod. What could be the problem?

I have the same problem. Is your bass low, not powerful enough? do you have problem with audio driver as well? I can't get the graphic equalizer and speaker settig of creative audio driver to work. It shut down after I hook the X-240 speakers up.
