Hi
My speakers are about 5 years old and working perfectly but if I plug a headphone jack into the remote I get either really distorted sound or the left speaker cuts out completely. Without headphones connected they work fine.
I´m trying to find a replacement remote or maybe advice on how to fix it, I´m not very electronics minded so please don´t tell me to solder anything ![]()
Any help will really be appreciated.

Welcome to Logitech Forums
You could try another headphone first.

Don´t worry, that was the first thing I tried, along with double checking the headphones worked with my mp3 aswell. Its the connection where the headphones go into the remote which is the problem.

I dont think that you can find a control pod (remote) to be sold by Logitech seperate from the system. Although you could phone support and report the issue. They will be able to assist you.

I have seen a third party replacement for the Z-2300 remote, but it is an electronic do it yourself assembly.
Probably not a solution to your situation.
Do you have any technically inclined friends. As I have also seen how to disassemble Z-2300 web pages. With photos.
