hi guys
I recently bought Logitech Z-4 2.1 Speaker System .I have a Sony PCG-7162L laptop.
I am having problems with the connection. I cannot get a bass from subwoofer.
I bought 3.5 mm male-male cable and connect it to the remote of the logitech z-4 , but if I halfp-way insert the cable to remote, 1 speakers dont work and I GET a bass from subwoofer.
But If I full insert the 3.5 mm cable to remote of logitech, there is no bass.
I know bass is working, I know all the spears are working.
What I am doing wron?
( I connected 2 speakers to subwoofer as per color, then connected remote to subwoofer via serial connection. then used 3.5 mm male - male to connect my laptops audio output to my remite audio input)
Q: there is also another input behind the subwoofer, it said "input", but when I connect there instead of remote's input there is NOTHING happens.
thank you all

Didn't your Z4 speakers come with a 3.5 mm, male to male, stereo audio cable?
Did you try the one from the speaker kit?
Have you tried the Z4 speakers with a different sound source?
Like maybe an MP3 Player.
The users manual indicates the rear jack on the woofer is the one normally used.
Disconnect {with the AC cord disconnected from the wall outlet} the remote connection and make sure none of the male pins got bent over when you connected it to the woofer.
