750e as a streaming Surf Cam

I'm setting up a surf website in Costa Rica, and one of the main features it will have will be a live surf cam (to see the conditions before going out)

The 750e seems to be my best option as far as a good quality PoE camera setup goes.
I have two questions before I order the setup, however:
Is the Commander software compatible with streaming sites like uStream and Livestream?
Also from everyone's experience would the 750e camera be good with a longer distance view (i.e not a view of my back door)

There are many ways to configure an IP camera to work with Ustream but here is one way:

The logitech 700e (outdoor) camera has a very wide viewing angle and no optical zoom. If you use digital zoom to look at something far away, the image will be blurry compared to unzoomed field of view.
