Re: Actual 3rd Party App RTSP Authentication Settings

Does it need to be RTSP or can it be RTMP?

Re: Actual 3rd Party App RTSP Authentication Settings

It needs to be RTSP; our cameras don't support RTMP.

Sure, go for it.  I know we also work with Quicktime and a few other players.

Re: Actual 3rd Party App RTSP Authentication Settings

Jim,

Does VLC work?

Is your network secured?  If so, you'll need to supply credentials.  Username should be admin, password would be the password you used when you set the security key in Commander.

Re: Actual 3rd Party App RTSP Authentication Settings

Does opening a stream in VLC interfere with the motion/recording done via the commander software?
