Thanks for the reply.
I have changed the streaming speed and it works great now.
My new problem now is after a while all of the cameras stop showing me their picture and are replaced with different colored vertical bars? Any ideas.
I can view the cameras remotely but not on the PC BI is installed on? All I have to do is close BI and start it again, however after a random time it will do it again.
This all started with the latest update.

This is not supported, but I play around with BI a bit at home to see how it works. This is just the program connecting back to the camera again. Not sure if anyone else has fixed this issue, but I do see it happen sometimes.
My powerline performance in Commander is good though.

Have had extreme problems since latest updates. Cannot use H264 or program crashes often. Frustrating since it was quite reliable previously.

I know this thread is a bit older, but I'm having trouble with the Logitech Commander and I can't seem to get this setup properly either.
I run a Yoga studio and I'm trying to setup the cameras so I can watch the boutique from the office(located in another building about 100' away). Unfortunately I can't seem to get it to work via LAN despite being on the same system and even the premium 10 minute timer drives me crazy.
I tried setting up BI with the settings in the first post as well as trying to get it to work in the new Alert camera setting with no luck. I emailed their support but figured I would try you guys.
Do you know of anything that might need to be set to get it working initially? I'm getting Error: 8000274d (OnConnect: 10061), block: 0

Did you set your camera ip addresses to static as recommended in the first post? Using the router to reserve the ip for the camera's mac is the best way. Just guessing you may not have the correct ip address entered in BI config.

Try the BI user support forum. They helped me out a lot when I first switched.

I wanted to connect my Logitech cameras Alert on Blue Iris.
Once I've added a new camera and I enter the IP address, now comes an error code: 8000007a Check Port / User / Password), block 0
I think blue iris takes the camera via the IP but has problems to authenticate.
Can me someone help with this problem?

Icommend you for all the work you have been doing with all this, I've been having problems with logitech alerts program for couple years was told about third party software over a yr ago but thought it was my pc . I could sure use some advice and help setting up the best third party program. Im shooting you this email to ask when and if ever possible you could ever talk on phone and if not maybe just help walk through maybe explain how this all works I did read through your explanations on a lot of the program the husband I'm sure will understand most of what you explained.
I wish I could speck with you on the phone and explain what problems I have had with my cameras guess just to confirm that it is the program which I almost have to believe it is... We also have 3 the wildlife cameras and 4 of logitech and two different monitors running each. At this time I do not have wildlife running , husband just built a new pc even bigger better then before. We believed the other one should of handled the program but still have some issues. I would appreciate any advice you could give us. My husband understand the langue much more then I. Im desperate for help. You can contact me by email (edit out personal information) after 7pm at (edit out personal information) all day sat and sunday. Thank you Shirley

I have recently purchased the BI software for several reasons. Both AC & BI have there strengths and compromises. The night vision capability of BI is decidedly weaker, even with additional IR lighting. I am trying to pare down the number of alerts I get from false triggers on the BI software as well. And I have noticed that it seems that bugs do like the cameras.
I think that the programers at Logitech are inching their way to better functionality in their software, it certainly is easier to configure (because of the smaller features set), but the BI has the feature set I need (and then some). I have criticized the AC software in several forums because of these weaknesses. But having finally "upgraded" to BI, I can see that there has been a different focus in the AC programers' team.
The idea that Logitech is "giving the software away for free" is a bit pom pose, as this isn't a cheap consumer product, but certainly more attainable than the pro gear. Having purchased my initial three cameras from Dell and receiving the business discount we get, gives a better idea of the "cost" of the software at full retail pricing. The would do well by focusing some additional funding to polishing up the AC software. And from what Frys Electronics rep said to me just yesterday, that both Lorax and Swann were going to be releasing full HD versions in the next few weeks, Logitech needs to get these shortcomings posted in this thread (and the ones I had posted in several other forums) resolved.
The competition is just getting started, but they are were I looked to first. If I had found the video quality I was looking for, they would have gotten my dollars instead.
Thanks for your posts.

Ok now for some dumb questions. I downloaded blueiris and I like the features. If I am going to run it with my cameras do I need to reset them with the paper clip? Can I leave them as is and keep getting the email alerts through logitech and view them remotely through logitech web commander?
