I have two outdoor cameras - unfortunately, both are in awkward places to get to (ladder required). One of my cameras is no longer recording motion. I've tried unplugging for 15 minutes and have tried formatting the SD card in the camera multiple times. But, the "storage tab" of the Settings shows a red exclamation point and no recordings.
I assume I need to replace the SD card, but can't remember how it's mounted in the camera - is there anything online that shows how to get to the card, so I know what I need to do before I climb the ladder?

It's under a door at the bottom back of the camera secured with a two phillips screws. You can unscrew the door and screws and they will remain attached while you remove the micro SD card.

Thanks - for whatever reason, the Logitech web site (http://www.logitech.com/en-us/589/8266?section=dow
In any event, I had to buy and 8' ladder (somebody else installed it for me), and after formatting a 16gb micro-SD card with NTFS and installing it, it's now recording again.
As somebody else indicated, the logical place for the SD card would be at the power/network adapter - it would make for a much easier install - at least for the outdoor cameras.

Bad idea.
You'd want to SD Card to stay with the camera and away from thief. If a thief can actually take the SD Card with him none of the recording matters. This is why I like the 750e instead of other products that requires a DVR. It would be useless if the thief takes the DVR too.
In the 750e's case, even if the thief steals the computer, you will have data inside the camera.

Maybe one other option would be to change the camera so it still tries to sync the video clip even if there's no SD card (or a non-functioning SD card)?

That sounds like a great idea - and maybe doable in just firmware.
