Camera site problem - properly reconnecting my cameras to my site on Web Commander

So at some point I had created a site called 'Home' and at some other point the cameras got moved to a new site called CityHome.  The other day I was in the Web Commander and saw the old site called 'Home' and since all of the cameras WERE in the proper site (CityHome) I deleted the site called 'Home' and that seemed fine at the time.  The cameras no longer appear in the web commander and no longer appear in the Android app.

So I used the Commander Software to 'reset' all of the cameras to factory defaults and created a new site called CityHouse' and the cameras still aren't showing up right now.  So what's the best way to get my cameras back into the web commander (which shows no sites currently.)  the local commander shows the same email address as the web commander.

I also tried changing the email address (twice) that is setup in the Commander software (the change worked) but the new site and my cameras still aren't showing up.

I'm pretty sure I've seen this type of solution before but I don't recall which thread it was in.

Re: Camera site problem - properly reconnecting my cameras to my site on Web Commander

Hi BlackHawk1776,

Could you please try to perform a clean install?

Follow the steps below in order to perform a clean install:

1) Uninstall your Logitech Alert Commander

2) Restart your Computer

3) Go to your Computer Option

4) Open your C:/ Drive

5) Go to Program Files

6) Find the Logitech Alert Folder

7) Delete the Logitech Alert Folder

8) Restart your Computer

9) Download the latest Alert Commander Software

10) Install the Alert Commander Software

11) Factory reset your (Outdoor / Indoor )cameras with a paper clip.

12) Set up your cameras once again

Please note: Please save any important videos to a different location that way they dont get erased.

Give this a try and let me know how did it work for you.

Kind regards,

Camacho

Try the steps on this post first and see if that works. http://forums.logitech.com/t5/Alert-Security-Systems/Camera-stuck-on-one-site-other-cameras-on-anoth... you may have to adapt the steps a little to include the factory resets to be done with all your cameras. If you uninstall the Commander first before trying this you may run into issues with more added sites and the cameras not attaching properly to the site you want.

Re: Camera site problem - properly reconnecting my cameras to my site on Web Commander

This one was actually from 2 months ago and I did get it resolved.  As I recall I uninstalled Commander, reset the cameras and went to the C:\ProgramData\Logitech\Logitech Alert Commander\ and renamed that folder (deleting is bad, because if you're wrong you can't go back) location where the commander data was stored and upon a true clean reinstallation everything was re-setup new.

After all of that everything has been honkey dorey.  My exact steps are a bit hazy as it's been a while but I'm pretty sure that was the jist of what got it fixed.
