I have an 750 indoor system + an external add-on. I have 2 issues
-- After adding the second camera, I can very rarely see live feed using the remote viewer via alert.logitech.com
This is the error message. Connection to "rtmp://media-alert.logitech.com:1935/live/Camera_
The only time I saw it was very late in the night PST - almost makes me believe it is a server issue
-- Getting alerts is an issue; I get the jpg files but nothing in the frame that could have caused the trigger. I have tried to play with the settings of 1s and 2s but not sure if others have had success "fine-tuning" to see what triggered the capture. I have zones on both cameras - - does that cause an issue?

Connection to "rtmp://media-alert.logitech.com:1935/live/Camera_
This error typically indicates that a firewall or network proxy is preventing you from loading the content from the cameras. Are you trying to remote view from inside of a Business, where a Proxy is running that prevents Streaming Video?

Thanks - you are right on checking from inside of the company of where I work. Is there any way to get around this? After all, checking from work would be a common thing to do.
Do you have any thoughts on the other issue that I mentioned - regarding capturing the right snapshot to send as a jpeg in an alert. What is the best way to do this so that you get a reasonable alert - something where you can see the person that triggered the alert. I seem to be missing the moment
Thanks for your help.

I'd ask your local IT if they can make a proxy exception for media-alert.logitech.com on port 1935
As far as the Alerts, I'd wait and see what our engineers have for you in the December update. We're re-tooling the Motion Detection process.

This shouldn't be related to company's firewall. I work for Apple and before that I was working for Wells Fargo. I could never connect to the vidoe from any of my employers. Logitech must fix the way they are rendering Video. I have set of other camera (Archerfish Solo) and I can see them from my company firewall without any issues.
This will force me to return all 3 cameras and master system.

Trevor,
Is there ANY way around this other than adding a proxy via local IT? Most corporations won't allow these types of exceptions as you are not really supposed to be using work computer for personal purposes

You should be able to connect and view the cameras using VLC but you'll need to configure some stuff first.
1) @ home, in your router create a port-forward for you camera. For example, external port 80, internal port 554, pointed to the camera's LAN IP.
2) at work, point VLC at rtsp://your.public.ip.at.home:80/LowResolutionVide
I'm suggesting port 80 just because it probably isn't blocked @ your work like port 1935 seems to me. This will only work w/ a thrid party viewer like VLC. Not with the alert website.
Another work around would be to use BlueIris to stream your camera(s) on port which are not being blocked. If you search these forums there are tutorials on how to setup BlueIris.
