I have Commander Alert saving my video to e:\dropbox which is sync'd with dropbox 2gb free.
Problem is that I can only select 0.10gb (100mb) or (5GB) using the SLIDER inside Alert Commander.
How does one select 2GB? The +/- nor the Slider allow me to make finer adjustments.
I searched the Registry and the Logitech folder and can't find where this value is configured.

I was able to set my archive to 2G by changing the slider. Do not use the plus/minus sign as they will alternate between .1 and 5G as you mentioned. I was going to post a screencap, but I can't seem to figure out how to do that in a reply. ![]()

I have the same problem. The slider doesn't help; choices are 0.1 and 10 GB, and it goes up in 10GB increments. The "+" does 100GB increments.
Seriously, its as if the developers of this don't even try to think about what they're doing. Sure, the pie chart "looks pretty" but so what? I can't use it!
What would be wrong with... gee I dunno... a text field!

Thats what happens when programmers design the UI instead of UI designers (graphic designers).

I'm logging in 4 months later looking for a solution to this problem still. As expected, I see nothing has changed. Is it really that difficult for someone to bother spending what may be an hour to fix it?

Even any workaround at all would be appreciated. The setting must be saved to a file somewhere; which one? I can manually change it with a binary file editor if I have to. If it is on a server, then what is the API that tells the server to store the value? If it is done over HTTP, I should be able to formulate a request that'll do it, if someone can tell me where to look for the protocol.
I have two cameras, and I've had them for a long time. I'd like to get 6, but it is ridiculous problems like this that keep me from wanting to commit any more money into this. If this worked properly, I'd get a total of 6 and pay for increased cloud storage just so I could keep the security footage offsite.
But no, I just keep waiting... and I have high confidence it won't be resolved, ever, based on past track record.

Hello everyone,
Please be sure that you download the latest version of the Alert Commander (3.2.181) and drag the arrow to whatever size you wish. Do not use the + and - sign, simply make a clik and hold on the arrow, then drag it to the number you like.
