Commander will not find cameras

System was working fine until 10:38am on 4/26.

The Commander S/W will not find any of the 3 cameras I have.

Each camera show to be recording normally, as stand alone, according to the LED's. I have tried the power off/on cycle (camera, router, PoE) with no avail.

I guess the next step is a hard reset on the cameras? I'm just leary becaue I don't understand how all three cameras are affected by whatever happened.

Dissapointed,

Wes

Re: Commander will not find cameras

It sounds like the HomePlug bridge is either having trouble communicating with the router or with the cameras...as it is affecting all cameras.  You could attach the HomePlug bridge to the ethernet port of the PC and see if it can communicate with the cameras...basically removing the router from the list of possibilities.  If it still can't see the cameras that way, then either the bridge itself has a problem, or there is an issue getting the signals across the AC line.  If necessary, use an extension cord so that at least one camera and the bridge are plugged into the same outlet...which should eliminate issues crossing different AC circuits.

Make sure none of the HomePlug stuff is plugged into any surge protected strips/outlets.  When you power-cycle, make sure you power-up in the sequence starting from the ISP end...modem, router, bridge, cameras, PC...giving a couple of minutes between each step.

Re: Commander will not find cameras

Thanks for the help!

Unfortunatly, neither of the suggestions worked. The only thing left seems to be hard reset each camera...which really doesn't seem to be the issue, but it looks like I'm out of options.

If none of that worked, then I'd suggest calling Logitech Support...your HomePlug bridge may have gone bad...which they would replace if still under warranty.
