Hi, I hope someone could help...
I just brought the 750e Master system, software all updated, installed.
During setup, Alert Commander found Network Adapter.
It could never find the camera.
Network adapter's LEDs are as follows:
Cable end LEDs: - Yellow constantly lit.
- Green constantly lit with occassional data traffic flashes
Top of unit LEDs: - Green constantly lit with occassional data traffic flashes.
- Blue constantly lit with occassional data traffic flashes.
For the camera, it does the following after power is plugged in:
Diagnostic LED:
- Single flash of Green>Pink/White lit solid for approximately 30 seconds > one single click sound of the shutter? > Flashing Light blue for approximately 20 seconds > Solid light blue.
Cable end LEDs: - Yellow constantly lit.
- Green constantly lit with occassional data traffic flashes.
I already tried hard resets of the camera, memory card removed/reinstalled, swapping yellow and blue cables, tried different wall outlets, even had the network adapter and camera on the same outlet, reset my router, disabled all the firewalls, tried to install this on a different computer, nothing changed. It could not find the camera.
How often are defective cameras DOA?
The click sound from the camera, is that normal? It sounded like the shutter cycling once everytime it starts up.
Thanks in advance for any help. I really like the features of this camera and I really want to get this to work.

Something to try - unplug your computer from your router (turn off wifi if you're on a laptop and use the physical network port) and plug the homeplug bridge (with the blue colored adapter port) to your PC (not the router) and reboot the PC. Bring the camera as close to the homeplug bridge as possible and plug it in. This creates a network with just the PC and cameras to eliminate any router settings.

Wow, you are a genius. I have messed with this for 3 days and got nowhere and just followed your suggestion, it worked. Thanks so much! Maybe I should stick with working on cars instead of messing with computers!

Good news! Now you just have to figure out the setting in the router that's tripping things up. Make sure UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) is enabled if it's not already. Sometimes it's something with the DHCP server and how the router gives out IP address. You may want to see it the router has a FW update. When you find out, let us know what setting it was.

Thanks. Everything is working now.
What I think the problem was is because Alert Commander never once found the camera until I plugged the camera directly into my ethernet in my computer. The moment it found the camera, it immediately downloaded a firmware upgrade to the camera. Once that was done, I hooked the camera up to my router, and restarted the network adapter and camera, everything worked as it should and I am very happy.
I did not change any settings on my router and everything worked perfectly, even website monitoring.
I am going to purchase more cameras and if this happens again, I will do exactly the same thing and it should work fine.
Thanks again for your help.
