Disk space is not managed by Alert Commander

Hi

I have 6 cameras connected on one PC and my problem is that „Alert Commander“ does

Not manage the disk space as it should.

I set the “Alert Commander Video Space” to 115GB. 30GB are already used and 90GB are supposed

To stay free. In the settings the warning is displayed “The assigned disk space for the videos is too small when Alert Commander is executed data will be erased” but it doesn’t.

Result is that the free disk space is fading until the disk is completely full.

So right now I’m erasing the oldest videos manually but that can’t be the solution.

In the properties of the folder attributes are set to “read only” but if I uncheck this field apply

It and look at the properties again it changed back.

The user itself is a member of “power users” so he should be able to do that.

Thanks in advance

Re: Disk space is not managed by Alert Commander

This does smell like a rights issue.  DanielB_Logi addressed this subject in a thread below...have a look at his comments there to see if that helps...

Re: Disk space is not managed by Alert Commander

Seems like the problem is solved.

I set the folder for the videos of Alert Commander to "My Videos"

then reset the settings to default and now it works.

p.s. setting it to default didn't work before that.
