Is there a way to toggle sending alerts programmatically?  Modifying a configuration file, registry key, etc would all be fine.

I'm understanding you would like to know if you can send alerts in a different fashion, rather than the current way they're being sent out. I'll be more than happy to assist you with this matter.

At the time, this option is not available. However, I'll make sure my superiors take a look at this post so it may be considered in the future.
