@teamhood, I understood from your original post from yesterday evening that you have been having your issue for a while ( as v3.1 has been out for over a month and you said it occurred soon after upgrading )...but not clear if that was hours, days, weeks ago <g>  Anyway, let us know if still seeing the issue now that Logitech servers are up again.

still get the message "there was a problem retrieving alert settings ...."when trying to switch on/switch off e-mail alerts - does anyone have an idea how to overcome this presistent issue?

Is it linked to the update? I have another Alert system in a different place which I have (luckily) not updated and I do not have the issue there! Maybe there is a way to get rid of the update and go back to the previous software which seems to work!?

Hey all,

Yes, I'm back up and running. I'm guessing the Alert servers started having some problems yesterday, which took me down. I'm now back up and running and can access my camera from iphone as well as the web. 

I also spent the day installing a 4th camera a 700e to view my backyard, but of course it seems the HomePlug adapter is not working as it pings the camera with a yellow LED and won't connect to LC. I swapped the HomePlug from the Backyard 700e with my front door 700e and it powered right up! 

I guess I should RMA this HomePlug and also look into getting a POE switch!

@hoc, can you see the cameras on the web from the site you are having the problem with ?  It should have nothing to do with the update.  When you say "switch on/off e-mail alerts", are you doing that from Alert Commander app on the PC, or one of the options from the web ( if you have the premium subscription ) ?
