Error after Internet Explorer 9 upgrade ?

I get the following error message after upgrading to Internet Explorer 9.
"There is no internet connection. We were unable to check the availability of a new version."

Getting message"There is no internet connection.Please check back later.The software downloads but ask me to exit alert and continue.Also have problems removing previous command center software.

Hello Vinney999,
Have you disabled all security software including Windows firewall on both public and private networks?
Also even ad-aware type programs should be disabled as well.

I am using IE9. When i log into alert.logitech.com the screen freezes on 'Loading...' and never progresses to the id and password screen.
