I was finally able to get my camera up and running and able to view it using http://alert.logitech.com. But tomorrow I have to take the camera and my PoE switch to a friend's house and install it there. I am wondering how, when I log onto that web site the camera is found now that it is on a different network.
Can anyone explain?
Thanks.

As long as there is an internet connection to the router where you power up the camera, you should see it in a few minutes.
If you install Alert Commander on a different PC, then it will prompt you to become the new "master" of the camera ( can only have one official master Alert Commander instance ). If you use the same email/password acct, it will then show as another site ( even if you name it the same, each instance of Alert Commander is a unique site on the web page ).

Thanks again.
Can you delete the first account after setting up at the new location?
I'd like to uninstall Commander from my Thinkpad and download and install Commander on my friend's computer.

If you want to setup with a new account, then you should do a paperclip reset on the camera at the new location so the new Alert Commander can take ownership of the camera...see the following link for more info...
