How likely is it that Logitech will add "scheduled alerts" in the near future?

I currently own 3 alert cameras and think it's a great product.  Unfortunately, for my office, I need to receive emails alerts at night and on the weekends when motion is detected.  I don't like getting emails all day and don’t want to manually turn on/off the alerts.

I already requested a return but since so many of you on this forum have been asking for this feature, what is the chance that Logitech will implement scheduled alerts? Can someone speculate based on their history of responding to feature requests? Could someone from Logitech respond?

I'm willing to keep the system and not return if it seems very likely that it’s just a matter of time.  Even if it's a few months from now, I'm happy with the system so I'm willing to wait.  Otherwise, its seems that Cisco's small business cameras have software that allow schedule alerts.

Thanks.

Based on my interactions with Logitech at a supervisory level, it's coming - fairly soon - maybe by March?   I know they are working on a major update, that will incorporate many of the requested enhancements long overdue - be patient... we'll have these and more soon.

Well thats good news, maybe I'll get my cameras by then.  Just waiting on Logitech and Ingram Micro to get their acts together.

I sure hope so.  Their "updates" so far have been pretty much nothing.

Not only do I need to disable alerts when I don't need them, but I also want to disable all the video saving it does to the card.  There's no point in filling up the card several times a day as it catches me walking around my house half naked all day... I don't need to see that later and wait for it to slowly download into Commander.

8 months later...no "schedule alerts" feature added...

So to answer your original question...

"NOT LIKELY"

There is no doubt that this is on the way. Too many people have asked for it.

Logitech is very active on this forum - a rarity for a company their size - so I know they are listening.

I bought my system knowing it didn't do scheduled alerts. I still think it's the best thing going. I look forward to the new features but I can wait.
