i am installing a netgear powerline system in my home soon, to bring my network downstairs, this is the system rated for 500mbps.
i wanted to switch out the adapter that came with my alert master system for a netgear powerline one, will i have any issues getting the logitech alert to work?

Hello Ray.T,
I have heard of customers trying this with varying results, first I have to say that if you choose to do this logitech cannot support technical support issues until you re introduce the supplied network adapter whether or not you have success in getting it connected. That being said it may be worth your time to try, if they are HomePlug AV adapters you may be able to connect without any problem at all. If there is a conflict you can apply a PowerLine password to your alert software and devices and then install the Netgear adapters which will block them from seeing one another letting you use both adapters in the one router.
