I install the Logitech Alert for my BlackBerry.
i did allow all the right for the apps
First time, they ask for user name and password.
error message come out
"No network Connection. Please check your connection and try again"
I close the app and open the app again.
it didn't ask for my user name and password anymore.
just come out
"No network Connection. Please check your connection and try again"
I am able to use the http://alert.logitech.com/ on the web.
so my account & connection with my device is fine.

I'm personally investigating this issue with AT&T and Verizon. There appears to be a bad gateway, preventing customers from using the Alert App, while connected to their networks. Meanwhile it has been working over WiFi.
Once I know more, I will update this thread. I'll be merging similar threads into this one, as it has a nice clear topic.

We've determined that this issue can be resolved by using Opera Mini on the Blackberry.

Thanks!! I was having the same problem and found this thread. Just goto http://www.operamini.com/download/wap/ with your BB browser and reboot after installation.

Hi,
I'm having the same problem on my BB. And when I used WIFI, I could view live video just fine. I'm in Canada and my service provider is Rogers.
What do I need to do to fix this? Was it fixed with AT&T or Verizon?
I downloaded OperaMini but it's just a browser... how does it make (as a workaround) the Mobile Alert work on my BB?
Thanks!
Allen

Any updates to this thread? Have set up two cameras successfully through the application and have it working remotely via iPad & PC. Still no luck with the blackberry app with the "unable to validate the email address and password combination (Error id:30601)? My Blackberry is using Verizon as the network provider. I can't think that i fat fingered it a dozen times. Either the app doesn't support Verizon or it is flawed. any ideas.

This isn't a system wide Verizon issue for sure - my wife and I both have Verizon and we both use the BlackBerry Tour 9630 with no issues at all using the Alert Software as downloaded from the BlackBerry app world.
What phone are you using? Have you tried updating the OS on your phone?
