Just wanted to add one more voice to the Mac software. I have run Parallels on my Mac. Every time I used it, paralles reminded me why I switched to a Mac. Love your web cam, but really hope you will have software for Mac soon.

Just another customer voicing a desire for MAC software.
I'd be happy with a simple cron job I could setup on my Mac that would simply copy the files off the system to my NAS storage device. Is there a way to do an anonymous ftp to the camera to fetch the files? or is there any interface avaialble that would allow me to cobble up something to do that. I hate having to keep Parallels running just so the video files in the camera get transferred to my hard drive.

I think you are a Mac user. (Mack is a truck!) Anyway, I am also a Mac user. Very disappointed that Logitech hasn't provided a Macintosh client.
I've tried running the Commander software under Windows on a virtual machine. It almost works, except that I have not been able to get the video viewing panel to display anything. The little preview panel on the lower right works fine and I can configure the camera and get downloaded video.
Logitech tech support won't help if you aren't running on a PC. Aarrggh.

Just another MAC user requesting that Logi creates a MAC client. The web version is a pain having to refresh and often times loses connection to the camera. I work on my lone PC and have 2 MACs. I want to be able to monitor outside while working.
I will buy more cameras once a Mac client is released.

I think it is time for Logitech to support Mac OS. Its time.
Co workers are amazed that, with my iPad, I can check my camera's. The next door neighbor's gardner was working and I could hear the leaf blower on my iPad. That with an indoor camera placed in my window.
I have one outdoor night sun camera used indoors and just ordered another. All cameras should be night sun with the ability to disable it if we want through software.
Possibly with a mac mini server it might be worth leaving the computer on with an external ssd drive.
I have e-mail warnings of animals walking on my porch and the blue jay wondering why I haven't put peanuts out yet (unsalted). It is good to know when someone is on my porch.
PS: I had to assign IP addresses in my airport extreme because I also use ISY99i/Insteon for light control and the IP addresses were causing conflicts. FWIW.
Great job but support Macs.

Logitech makes promises since ages and ignores the Mac world. These people are hopeless. My brand new Alert systems sleeps now in the garbage can.
What Mac compatible security solution can you recommend ?

We understand how frustrating this is for our Mac users. It would be good to have this on Mac OS then only thing is that this is a complex program that would require a lot of re-writing for it to be compatible with the Mac OS.
You could always try setting it up on a PC and then see if a third party program will work with your Mac. I am not sure if Blue Iris is compatible with Macs, but it might be something Mac users could look into once they have the settings done how they want as much as they can with parallels/VM then move the camera to the Third Party program.
You would look for IP camera software.

Does the Parallel trial license for Mac include the Windows license ?
