Assuming you need a PC for system set up, do you need it after that to view cameras via the web?

Also, if you get the extra Alert and Web commander web monitoring package, do you need a PC at all?

If you use the Dropbox tool, does that require a PC or are the videos going strait from the cameras to Drop box?

Thanks.

Re: Logitech Alert on Mac OS

I second this.  You really need to get this going for all the mac users out there.

I don't get why you wouldn't support Mac.  This isn't 2005.  Your system seems really cutting edge but your support is old school.

Re: Logitech Alert on Mac OS

Why does nothing happen, it can not be this difficult to get support for this program for the Mac.

Re: Logitech Alert on Mac OS

It is not fully up to Logiteh about supporting Mac. Also Apple has to agree as well. It is not like making a program for PCs. Apple likes to have a say in what people make for their items. That is why there are so many more games for PC then Macs.

That's just not true.  Any software developer can develop a program for OSX and sell it directly to customers just like they can do for the PC.  It is true that Apple controls what software can be sold through their App Store, but neither games nor software like webcam monitoring software are in the domain of the types of things that would have difficulty getting approved for distribution.

Re: Logitech Alert on Mac OS

Sorry, but that is a BS excuse if you notice, no official logitech official will come on here and comment. They know nothing is in the works and don't want to admit it....
