My boss just installed this system in his and is loving it so far. He has a netbook that he takes with him when he goes on vacation or when he goes on the road. The Alert commander opens just find but the playback features are cut off because the window is a fixed 1024 X 768 the laptop's native resolution is 1024 X 600. Are there any settings that I can change so the playback features don't get cut off?
Thanks
Joe

I have a similar problem and would appreciate some help/advice. I'm using a iMo eye9 9-inch Touchscreen USB Monitor. I get the same problems regarding not being able to see the whole Alert Commander screen. I'm surprised that the software doesn't conform to Windows standards by having a 'Maximize' icon (instead of the not-very-useful Full Screen icon).

Me too, running a Toshiba netbook and have this issue. For users who want to keep the commander desktop running 24/7 to keep all motion recorded. Figure the netbook would be a great solution. Smaller, less heat and uses less electricity.

I have a an Acer Aspire One, I followed the direction in http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=shvJLwtGnJQ , backed up my registry with File-Export and Searched and Changed all the 0 to 1 in 'Display1_DownScalingSupported' key, actually I believe there is only 2 changes, then rebooted and I now have the possibility to change to 1024X768 and higher resolution. The playback feature is definitely there. Make sure you use "x:\Program Files\Logitech\Logitech Alert\Logitech Alert Commander.exe" and not the res changer, app launcher shortcut Commander that may be on the desktop.
I will keep this registry change permanently for my notebook, no worries.
Good luck to all.
Daniel

Update
"and not the res changer, app launcher shortcut Commander that may be on the desktop" is part of a previous attempt with the http://www.bcheck.net/apps/reso.htm application Res-o-matic which seems to now work to change automatically the resolution from 1024 X 600 to 1024 X 768. Is it because that I made the said changes in my registry, don't' know works?
