That motion zone idea should pretty much disable recording. And those all sound like good comments and feature ideas--thanks for the input, I appreciate it.

Another way to do it is set the motion sensing area to a place like a small squre on the ceiling. Then none of the motions in the room will be captured.
[edit] Never mind... you guys already figured this out. lol

When and where will the b700n be available? I don't want the add-on camera with the powerline adapaters...just the updated indoor security cam with nightvision and PoE. Thanks!

No info yet on the B700n. I'll post when I know something.

I ended up purchasing the 700n add-on camera. It works well PoE. Just not going to use the powerline adapter.

There listed and when you go to order it shows out of stock. I called tech and sales support and no one had any idea of when they would be available. Has anyone heard anything about when they might be available to order? I've been waiting to order a couple of them for a few weeks now...

I ordered the 750n indoor master system, four 700n indoor add-ons and one 700e outdoor add-on on 7/20/12 and they arrived 7/26/12. I installed them easily and am very very pleased with their performance. I am using them to keep track of my husband (who has Alzheimers) when he moves from room to room and goes outside to walk around the driveway. I am so happy I can track him while I sit on my deck or am in a different room. As an added bonus, I can "pop in" and see what's happening at home when he is with a caretaker while I'm out doing errands.

In fact, the suction cup is right in front of the IR led light...so the IR bounces off that and ruins the image when having the camera point outside on a window using suction cup
even if you remove the suction cup, the IR light glares and reflects off the window....it isn't possible to use this as an outdoor camera...trust me, i've tried....i even tried cutting a toilet roll to fit it between the LED and window to reduce reflection..still doesn't work well
