I think this is a simple modification: if you want to use a standard network line as MikeDeSantis, you only need to find out which pins on RJ45 Logitech use to provide power to their cameras. Then on the regular switch side, you cut those wires out and connect them to a power adapter with the right voltage.
The only thing I am not sure is if Logitech software could recogonize the cameras connected this way.
Why would you want to go through so much trouble? If you don't have a PoE switch and don't want to buy one, you can always just use PoE injector with your regular switch.

Logitech,
How about the ability to schedule alert sensitivity changes based on time of day.
Thanks,

Logitech: video recording time adjustment after last motion detection would be required. Please comment if this is on your roadmap.

Question - why do you waste your time here? Logitech does not seem to be very interested in our input, or for that matter, even in providing a software in the camera and on the desktop that does what they sell....
Maybe the biggest improvement would be to get that little bit of functionality they sell today actually working...

You got a very strong faith my friend.... For my part, that whole thing goes back to the devil it came from.... Dan Brown will understand.

Logitech will go to several channels for feedback, the forums being one of them. Also, ideas can be submitted through Logitech.com/Ithink and the customer satisfaction survey sent after contacting support. The more feedback that is submitted, the better.

I would like to see Night Vision added back into the Internal Cameras like you once had in the WiLIfe system. The WiLife had night vision capabilities for the internal camera and did not for the Outdoor, now since the new Alert system, it seems as if the roles have flip flopped. It would be nice to have that capability in all the Cams. We have had many people request this because what good is the internal camera if there house is being robbed inside the house at night. For now they have to deal with installing the larger Outdoor Camera for the inside but they would really like the smaller model 750i to have this.

I'm pretty sure the old wilife system was the same--only the outdoor camera had IR-illumination.
In any event, that's definitely a feature others have requested, and one I'd personally like to see (indoor cam design w/IR illumination)
