Ok I updated and all my cams they were working prior to the upgrade. I have seen this issue before where cams take a while to come back. But I have rebooted the cams a well the main computer and still I have several that will not return after the upgrade. The weird part of this is that the two that did come back are the ones that had worst connections.
I have rebooted the computer check the network settings and done everything that I normally do to fix a broken or not functional cam. Other than doing a full rest of the cam via paper clip. I have WIFI IP cams and they function correctly but the Logitech give me a issue every time a update occurs which is not very often, Glad to see Logitech updating their software but need to go get my cams back now. To use a paper clip trick as they are in places that not easy accessible. Hence security cams.

I can totally relate to the paper clip issue althought both upgrades I have had were without issues. I have had cameras lock up and they had to be reset. I'd also check the lights on the LED to see what they are saying and that might give you a clue as to their issue. If they are not functioning, those LED's should light up even if turned off for normal use.
Logitech really needs to redesign these cameras so their is easier access to the SD card AND the reset button (although you should be able to do a reset on the software, not sure if that is the exact same as the paperclip (new feature, last update prior to this one.) People install these camera in awkward places and as such, it's a real pain to do these types of hard resets and chaninging out their cheapo SD cards they supply. I've replaced every single SD card with brand name cards and since fixing them none of the new ones has failed (finger's crossed!) Every one of theirs failed in just a few months.

Before you paper clip try to reset the homeplug network. Unplug the cameras and the bridge unit connected to the router and plug the bridge unit back in then the cameras. Usually if the camera disapeers it's a networking related issue. Could be as simple as the IP address has changed after the update, duplicate IP, or if the homeplug units also got updated the need for a general power cycle. You shouldn't have to reset the camera in most cases.
Most people just power cycle the cameras and forget about the bridge adapter to the network. Unplug them all so when you plug them back in they re-form how they communicate with one another.

I would like to see the Alert Frequency setting fixed so that it is not all-inclusive and can be set individually by camera.
Its useless to me in its current state, if I set it at anything higher than one minute then I will miss alerts for different cameras if say for example, someone wanders around the whole perimeter of my house.
It should be per camera to be at all useful in limiting repetitive/unnecessary alerts.

I think the ability to schedule the email alerts is very important. I have cameras at the office and from 8 to 5 an alert is kind of meaningless because there is always motion in the office during those hours. I know people are there at those times but I want to know about motion detected after hours. Is there any timeline when this will be an available feature of the software?

Logitech won't comment on future enhancements - many have gone before you asking this question. I think the answer is "eventually" - unfortunately Logitech is incredibly slow and methodical in their upgrades - they are in fact still fixing bugs and tweaking the cameras themselves for better performance and stabilty - but if you can read between the lines I think the ability to schedule and many other MUCH NEEDED ENHANCEMENTS are on the way - we just need to keep up the drumbeat. I think they have one engineer assigned to this and he takes a lot of pesonal time, leave and sick time - ;-((
These will be great cameras someday - once they get up to the "industry standards" that almost any other security camera system offers - we're not even close, yet. But they claim to be trying - it's one of those "hurry up and wait" situations. The price point on these cameras makes them high end for consumer use and as a result, they probably aren't having the level of sales they expected - then again you can rarely find them in any store, so not sure that Logitech isn't it's own worst enemy... if you have a Logitech Revue you will understand what I mean.
Hang in there - I think sometime this year they may throw us a bone...

I second this times 1000. I purchased this based on the fact that I thought it was an upgrade from the WiLife system. It is essentially WiLife under the hood except for some other improvements. Why it was removed is beyond me. I refuse to buy any other cameras until I see this feature added back in.
frdrck5n wrote:Schedule Time/Day when Cameras are on Alert Status
One of the great benefits of WiLife was that it had the ability to create a schedule for each weekday for when the cameras were "active". That schedule was able to determine when the Cameras were on "alert" for motion. In my case, I could only have my camera on "alert" for portions of the daytime thus eliminating many alerts due to "night animals"

Support Windows Phone 7!!!!!
I realize this is a small market share but it is growing, wheras blackberry market share is shrinking. My previous employer paid a market research firm to give an assesment on the mobile industry, and they predicted by 2014 Windows Phone could overtake iOS market share, and get close to Android. They expected the Nokia deal will give it a huge boost, and Microsoft is known for throwing cash at something to stay in a market until they are sucessful. (Think Xbox)
Also, you might want to get see if Microsoft can help you with a simple app. They really what their app count to increase. A friend of mine is a founder of a startup with a very popular app on iphone. Microsoft actually offered to pay for the app to be ported to Windows Phone 7, and it is pretty good.

We need time stamps on the video recordings.
I'm not sure the time and date info on the file property discriptions is admissible in court.
This should be addressed ASAP.
I am seriously considering switching over to Blue Iris as a result.

Please please add a feature to extend recording time when motion is detected as well as a option to delete full days instead of having to delete each recording separately if there is a fix for this and I don't know about please advise me ASAP.
