Night vision is turning on during the day time 3:30PM -- 5:00PM

Night vision is turning on during the day time 3:30PM -- 5:00PM, it is happened everyday when it is sunny day,

I have the same problem with my 750e camera,

My camera is pointing at my driver way, it will automatically start the night view during the day time around 3:30PM --- 5:00PM,

my 750e camera is setting in the Auto Levels mode and with Night Vision Enable.

I tried to adjust the Brightness and Contrast, it dosen't help when using Auto Levels mode and Night Vision Enable.

it looks like that the system has bad algorithm of calculation the trigger of the night vision.

I have a suggestion for the Logitech software team, should add one option in the Night Vision setting sheet, which allow user select the option to block the night vision during the day time(such as in the time range 1:00PM -- 5:00PM) based on the computer's internal clock time.

Re: Night vision is turning on during the day time 3:30PM -- 5:00PM

James11109,

I have had the same problem about two months ago.  Spoke to tech support and was unable to correct it. Was even told that one of the senior techs had the same problem.  I was also unable to stop it by changing the brightness and contrast with or without the auto level on.   I ultimately resorted to unchecking the enable night vision feature during the day for about a month.  The problem went away after the sun's circuit across my property changed.  I no longer have the problem on bright sunny days.  Hope yours goes away soon.

Re: Night vision is turning on during the day time 3:30PM -- 5:00PM

I've had this problem now and then on one of my cameras - it just has to do with the sun and how it is reflecting off of whatever is in view; my camera that did or does it seems to do it in the afternoon as well so I'm sure there is something to that.  Only one camera out of 4 with auto night vision does it though so I'm sure it's just the viewing angle / radiance of whatever it's looking at.  For me, that particular camera I'm not terribly worried about what it records during that part of the day so it's never been an issue but I can see how it could be an issue.  One way to resolve that is if Logitech could implement a Auto-IR scheduler, so that the Auto-IR could only turn on between specified hours.
