I have downloaded the ialert.dmg and installed the program, yet I still get a blank black screen when ialert starts up.
I am running LION 10.7.3.
Please Help I do not own a PC.
Much Appreciated.

The only file (other than the recordings) is in ~/Library/Application\ Support/iAlert. You can try to remove this file and see what happenes.

I released a new version with some minor changes (https://github.com/szatmary/iAlert/downloads). Please see if this resolves your issue. Note that in this version it is required to click on the LIVE event in the recordings list to begin playback.

Hello,
Just purchased the 750e and am loving it. Saw this post and am interested in iAlert. I tried to download the .dmg file and the download says the files does not exist. Am I doing something wrong?
Thank you for your contribution.

Thats strange. Must be a bug on github.
Should be fixed now.

I think the problem is the hotlinked URL has an added parenthesis and comma. Remove those in the URL line and you are golden. ![]()

Unfortunately, I still cannot get real time live video on my iMac, even when I click on "live feed". I can see the live feed on my MacBook Air, just not the desktop. Both systems backup the video files fine, and I can replay and see the videos on both.
Running Mac OSX 10.7.3, 2.93 GHz Intel Core i7 with 16GB Ram.
iAlert does not run on my 10.6.8 Mac

I have downloaded the iAlert.dmg of 02.march 2012. but I cannot start it. when I click on the camera icon of iAlert there appears an error message saying the ialert cannot beo opened due to a special reason etc... I have OSX 10.6.8 running.
