Unusual item...apparently designed to power your router across an ethernet cable. Since there are no real specs given, I'm not sure this would work for anything else ( doesn't appear to be a normal PoE injector ).

Thanks again.

Sorry to bother you again but I'm swimming in trouble.
I am unable to view my camera at http://alert.logitech.com, although I do see it in Commander.
It appears DHCP has not assigned an IP address to the camera. I ran a diagnostic report which shows camera's IP address as 169.254.223.209, which Actiontec says is not a "real" IP address. They say it's only a placeholder address. I cannot find my camera's Mac address among listed attached devices in my router, an Actiontec combo modem/router model MI24WR.
I have a TrendNet TPE-S44 PoE switch. I'm wondering if maybe I hooked it up wrong.
I have my Thinkpad laptop connected from its' ethernet port to the PoE switch (port#6, a non-PoE port. I have the PoE switch connected from the PoE switch (port#8, a non-PoE port) to an available ethernet port on my router. I have the camera connected with the supplied cable to Port #1, a PoE port.
I see the camera and its video in Commander. If I connect my Thinkpad directly to the router (instead of the PoE switch) I lose the video.
I'm trying to figure out if I have the PoE switch connected to everything correctly. I called TrendNet. The guy told me they are in the middle of an earthquake and Tsunami and can't help me today.

I guess your issue was a lesser Tsunami <g>
If you can see the camera on Alert commander, it must be getting an IP...if you "Run Detailed Diagnostics" in Alert Commander, it will tell you the IP.
From your symptoms, I'm not sure your router is setup for routing...doesn't sound normal at all. Can you get into to the router to see the setup ? Are you sure that the line from the ISP is plugged into the WAN port and not one of the LAN ports ? ...that might give the symptom you describe.
The TrendNet switch is a simple device...all it does is expand the ports from your router...so not much there to deal with or be concerned about...something is not right with the router setup. It appears you have the switch hooked-up fine.
Open up a cmd box ( go the Run, and type in CMD, enter ). The type "IPCONFIG /ALL" ( without the quotes ), enter. This should tell you your router IP as well as the IP assigned to the PC ( among other things ).
