I "JUST" purchased the 750E to be used as a webcam that can be used as a puppy cam, and the sales rep at Best Buy assured me that I could do just that.
However what I'm finding is that you have to create an account on alert.logitech.com in order to view it. Is there a way around that so I could just stream the image, or imbed it in a webpage?
I really don't want to direct people to "alert.logitech.com" and have them login with the admin user/pass to view the image. If I had known this before, I wouldn't have purchased it.
I'm using IP Cam Viewer on my android phone and it has a Logitech Alert cam setup in there and it works about 1/2 the time, so I figure there has to be a way to do it with a browser rather than using Logitech's proprietary software. ???
Hopefully somone has figured out a way to do this. If so, I'd greatly appreciate the help!!
Thanks
Shayne

There is a large thread about using the Blue Iris software as an alternative to the Logitech Alert Software. The cameras are not restricted to only using Logitech's software. Perhaps it would be suitable for what you are trying to do?
