Hello
I am not home but I just upgrading my Alert system to Web Commander and now the system is offline?
Wont be able to access cameras until tomorrow. Is there anything I can do.... they worked fine ten minutes prior to update.
Thank You

Hello FrankNYC,
It is not a norm for the Alert Commander to go offline right after performing an update, but it does happen.
Here is what I would like you to do to resolve this:
1, Make sure the Commander Software is closed on the Pc
2, Unplug the Ethernet Cable Plugged into your Router
3, Unplug the Power Supply that is used to Power the Camera's from the Power Outlet
4, Power Cycle the Router (Unplug the power to the router or use the on/off switch and let it sit for 1 - 2 mins)
5, Power the Router an make sure that the Network is working fine by browsing some internet sites
6, Plug the Power Supply back into the Outlet
7, Re-insert the Ethernet cable back into the Router
8, Make sure that you see 2 Lights on the Network Adapter (Solid Green and a blinking blue)
9, Re-launch the Commander and find the Camera (Open Settings>Cameras>Add/find>Find Cameras)
Your Commander will Search and re-find the Cameras.
Let me know how it goes

I have had my Logitech system for over a year with little or no issues and now since purchasing Web Commander software and upgrading my camera/powerline device, my camera keeps going offline. When I perform the troubleshooting steps you outlined, my camera will come back online, but it will only work for a few days or a few hours. When the camera shows offline, it is still recording and showing a blue blinking light. When I can get the camera back online, the camera shows there are recordings during the "offline" period. Nothing in my system has changed, except for the upgraded Logitech software, Is this a known issue and if so, when will it be fixed? It has been very frustrating.

I think the latest firmware does stress the camera and bandwidth a bit more...so if your HomePlug & Camera diagnostics show low performance, it may be enough to affect it.
I'm all PoE, so I have no HomePlug or bandwidth issues, but I reverted to the previous firmware due to seeing some issues ( some momentary freezing/dropping ) with constant motion after a while ( like grandkids playing in view ). I have not seen that issue after reverting.
The change I suspect is where they now support full 15fps when zoomed-out all the way in good lighting...which I'm guessing is stressing the system more.
