I have an outdoor 750 security camera. I'm facing a puzzling problem. When the Night vision turns on (when it is dark), the camera goes offline. If I turn the lights on to disable the night vision, the camera goes comes back online?
Any ideas how can I fix this issue?
I'm not sure if this matters or not but I have the camera installed indoors actually behind a window. I understand the issues regarding the glare but it doesn't seem like that should caused the camera to go offline when night vision is on.
Any help on this matter is appreciated! I've tried everything and pretty much frustrated at this point.

I've never heard of that issue before...but rare that anyone would mount an external camera behind a window. How far from the window is it and at what angle ? If very close, it would be like someone holding a flashlight in front of the lens. Have you tried turning the camera away from the window to see how it behaves then in the dark ?

Tried that. it doesn't seem to make a difference.
This issue looks similar to this: http://forums.logitech.com/t5/Alert-Security-Syste
I can't confirm if a reboot is happenning though.

Well, if you point it away from anything very close that could reflect and it still does it, I'd suggest calling Logitech support...they'd replace it if they could not resolve the issue.

I just called customer support and the lady on the line offered zero insight into the problem. Anyone from LogiTech support monitor these forums?

Yeah, some very old threads...where they either returned the camera or got it replaced.
The response you got from calling Logitech support certainly does not sound typical...I'd try again...if they can't fix it, they should replace it if in warranty.

I should have responded to my own thread (linked above). I did exchange my camera for a new one, and it's been working perfectly ever since. Seems that I got a bad unit the first time.
