Where are my Alert E-mails? - Backed Up Mail Server Now Running - Your Alert E-mails Coming

If you are wondering where your alert e-mails are this morning, our mail server had an issue -- alert e-mails were being queued up for distribution but they weren't being sent.

Our technical team is in the process of unblocking the queue. Because of this, you may already begin seeing alert e-mails showing up in your Inbox. In some cases, they may be 4+ hours old and may possibly even arrive out of order.

We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

I havn't received any e-mail alerts for the past 10-12 hours. Is there a problem with the mail server again?

There seems to be a problem with the Alert e-mails once again. I have not received any for the past 2 hours. Please, Logitech, get this problem fixed once and for all. Your customers rely on these e-mails and we are all paying for this service. Thanks.

I have not received alerts for over a month! This thing is trash! I wish I wouldve never purchased this system!

Re: Where are my Alert E-mails? - Backed Up Mail Server Now Running - Your Alert E-mails Coming

Hello Artoledo,

Do understand  the frustration that you have been going through. We do sincerely apologize for this inconvenience.

Would you mind if i ask you "What steps have you taken to see if you can attempt to seek  a resolution so far".

One month is a very very long time. Would you be able to perform the following steps and providing me with the results so I can pass it onto the engineers who are working on this issue :

1, Check to see if the Camera is recording and that you are able to see the video(s) upload to your Commander.

2, Check to see if the SD Card is not full or corrupted.

3, Unplug the camera, take out the sd card and check to see if the camera is infact recording to the SD Card.

If there are recordings and you would like to retain them, save them on your Computer.

4, Format  the SD Card on your Computer as NTFS and re-insert it into the Camera.

5, Check to see if the camera can be seen on the Commander and that it is recording.

6, On the Commander, check to see if the Camera is automatically downloading the video's

What I am primarily interested it so see is if the SD Card is causing the Problem in your case.

I did take a look into you account and all seems to be good. I would still like you to perform the above steps if that would be ok for you.

Let us know what you find out.

Regards,

Kiruban

Alert e-mails have been extremely intermittent over the past day or so. Is there a problem with the mail server again?
