Thanks for the preview Charles. Does the ring button only function as a shift modifier or can I set it to a keyboard key like the other G-keys?

Is the G600 going to support the Mac OS in the near future?

@happygolucky - Like any LGS supported mouse, you can assign basically any button to any function with the caveat that at least one button is left click and one is right click. So, yes, you can assign it to any funciton (or assign any other button to be G-Shift). Also, if you have a G-Series keyboard, you can assign one othe the G-Keys on THAT to G-Shift the mouse :smileywink:

@atticus92 - We cannot comment on any unannounced platforms or software. Currently, no. BUT, you can assign functions to the memory of the mouse and use it on a Mac without software (Plus, the thumbpad is preassigned out of the box in very WoW friendly keystrokes, and IIRC, the WoW hotkey assignments are pretty similar cross-platform)

Hey CharlesB, With G600 Logitech rules straight into my heart. Again. After G700. Why? Because I'm left-handed-disabled and have to work almost everything on PC with only one hand - so also gaming. G700, which I own these days, was a great step for me to a better playing experience. Now G600 could be a step further, for "more better" playing. At least I've got one question: Can I assign any thumb buttons to any keyboard key, so I can have, for example, a complete WASD control, like it is possible with G700 and Setpoint? And, just for interest: Why you don't have put the three buttons upon left-click-button like G700 has? For me that would be the ultimate mouse every been created. =)

Is there a release date for this mouse in the United States? I am torn between waiting for this mouse and getting the g700. I am getting the G13 gaming pad in a few days and I am trying to decide if I will need all the extra buttons that come with this mouse and if it will be worth the wait. Thanks!

Damnatus - Without sounding too cheesy, Gamers will always overcome :smileyhappy: That being said, I think you meant to ask if you can assign the thumbbuttons on the G600 to be WASD, and the answer is yes! The G600 uses our new Logitech Gaming Software which is also a lot easier to program with, and with LGS 8.30, comes with drag-and-drop button assignments for 248 games, including movement. If you have a game that isn't preinstalled, you can always creat your own profile and assign the buttons on the thumb area to WASD. And with this mouse, the reason we didn't put buttons there was to give a broad, comfortable left-click surface... We weren't exactly hurting for a need of more buttons at this point :smileywink: Don't forget that the wheel has left and right tilt too.

Shunel - Sorry I didn't respnd sooner. They should be shipping soon from us, and I'm hearing that Best Buy has some, so that might be a place to check out.

Any intention of coming out with a wireless version of this mouse?

Hopefully they add another feature so the mouse is wireless!!!

Can you guys update the LGS software to support more flexibility in detecting game .exe files?

League Of Legends basically creates a new sub-folder for every main .exe version that is released from their updater/patcher.

I have to manually change the .exe path in the LGS software to reflect this after each game update.

Here is an example:

C:\RIOT GAMES\LEAGUE OF LEGENDS\RADS\SOLUTIONS\LOL_GAME_CLIENT_SLN\RELEASES\0.0.0.176\DEPLOY\LEAGUE OF LEGENDS.EXE

The "0.0.0.176" folder changes after a game update to a newer version/name and breaks the auto game detection, since the path of the used .exe changes.

If we could set a wildcard in the path to replace the changing folder name using something like %DynamicFolder%.

The other option would be to detect any .exe with a certain name and not check the complete path. How many .exe files are going to be called League Of Legends anyway?

I'd like some type of solution, and these are just some of my personal suggestions.

It is really annoying having to update the path in thep rofile after each game update.
