Can I use the shifter-paddles as throttle/brake on PS3?

Hi all,

I'm disabled and can't use my legs for the throttle and brakes. Is there a Logitech Wheel (or other maufacturer) that will allow me to use the flappy paddles to speed up and brake on a PS3 in Gran Turismo.

Like the L2 and R2 on the normal controller. I'm OK with paying for a wheel with pedals, and just not usind them, but can I set Gran Turismo 3 up, to disreard the pedals and use the flappy paddle shifters instread?

I always drive with auto-gear, so I won't need to use them to change gears,

Any help would be greatly appreciated :smileyhappy:

Hi OxyConti,

Something like that would be dependent on the game you're playing rather than the wheel. However I believe if you simply unplug the pedals, that should be the default function of the shifter paddles in a game like Gran Turismo.
