I have a simiilar issue but it is with an DFP.  Anyway to fix this?

i had cal issue. wheel didn't want to cal and horn light kept flashing. think the problem is  with the optical sensor wheel. i googled and found some links to fix it. unfortunately i broke my sensor wheel trying to fix. this link is good;

Link, which you placed does not provide repair damaged components on the PCB of the encoder and the main PCB. They often are damaged in DFGT than the shield of the encoder.
