Hi,
I had purchased my brand new G27 on Jun 23 2011 at Frys Eletronics in Houston. Back to my house at Curitiba - Paraná - Brazil everything was fine since then. Yesterday I had a suprise when I try mount my G27 in my table to play my F1 2011! The steering wheel was a little bit loose... I did a quick check on the clamps in the botton part of the G27 and for my surprise one of them was broken. The clamp that holds the steering wheel to the table broken under normal use.
I was wondering if the Logitech garantee is world-wide and how I can get in contect with them to try fix my G27.
If anyone has any hint please let me know.
The following pictured aren't my but it was the exaclty same thing that happend to me.

I had posted a question in the Logitech support website. Let's see how the conversation will progress. I wish I could repair my loved G27... :-)

I have the same exact problem. The issue with me is that I know mine doesn't fall under warrenty. I was wondering if you guys sell that particular part or maybe help me out since I own tons of your products and have spent upwards of $1000 with you guys. Please help me fix it.
Thanks..

Hi Matt, I'm affraid to say that Logitech will NOT assist you on that.
As I sad, I had posted on 10-11-2011 a question in the Logitech support website and I had also called the Logitech support. They had simply ignored my request on the website and over the phone they said that they couldn't assist me since the warranty is regarding the steering whell not the parts. Because the steering wheel is working properly, I'm just not able to fix that.
I can't deny that was very very very frustating. Spend more than U$200,00 in a game control that broke like paper.
I find myself a solution until I'm under warranty. I had purchased a kind of cockpit (this one www.cockpitveloce.com.br) avaliable in my country. I belive you can find something similar...
As soon as my warranty expires I will open the steering wheel to remove the clamps the "recreate" the clamps with IRON. I doubt that will broke again! :-)
But I can't deny Logitech attitude has been extremely disappointing.

Well.. Why not? Just can't figure out how much will cost to ship that to you... I lived in South America... Brazil. :-)
