where can we send our claims to Logitech ?
I bought their most expensive wheel for GT5 and I can't even map the handbrake on the red button...
I really hope a patch will come up because it's a shame.

yes! i can confirm that all those things listed below here how the buttons works and everything is all correct!
i just got mine G27 today and its really fun to drive with it. i only need a proper playseat now cause sitting on a normal desk chair and a computer table gives you pain in the back. atleast for me!
i couldnt agree more that logitech should co op with GT5 publisher poly.... to make sure that we have full compatibility in game.
thanks for a lovely product logitech! i am one very satisfied customer for the moment. cheers!

Another dissapointed G27 user here, everything works but the "steering" Grand Turismo 5 on the PS3, thougfht the wheel would be fun. I have had just too many faulty Logitec products. Off to return this garbage and have "finally" learnded to stay away from "any" Logitec product.

CLUTCH / NEUTRAL PROBLEMS? --> COMMENTS:
Just some additional comments to share for concerned thread readers:
HOW TO SHIFT WITH THE SHIFTER AND WITHOUT THE CLUTCH
When you first start the race, if you don't use the clutch, you won't need it.
The game will allow you to use the 'H' pattern shifter without the clutch.
However, once you use the clutch, the game will engage its usage and require you to use it to shift.
WHEN CLUTCH USAGE IS ENGAGED, YOU MUST USE IT TO SHIFT
Once clutch usage is engaged, if you don't use the clutch between shifts, you will get stuck in neutral.
Make sure you use the clutch before using the 'H' pattern shifter to select the next gear.
If your timing is off, you will get stuck in neutral.

Hi Guys. Just wandering if there have been any possible patches that have fixed anything to make them more compatible. I'm bound to collect my new G27 racing wheel tomorrow. If any one could keep me updated, that would be great, thanks. Also if someone could tell me about any possible patch updates, I'd love to find out as much information as possible.

As of patch 1.03 nothing has changed for the G27. 12/13/2010
I am very dissapointed that I was led to believe the G27 would support GT5. We paid top dollar for a premium wheel and not all of the functions work? **bleep**
The buttons on the wheel was a selling point over the g25 AND THEY ARE USELESS!!
I want custom mapping for my g27 integrated with gran turismo 5. I want ebrake, wipers, and headlights assigned to the red buttons on my wheel.
I know I should have gotten that $500 Fanatec instead. I guess you get what you pay for.

Hey everyone, I've been reading this thread and thought i should clear some things up for the noobs or technically inclined.
First the clutch does work (and flawlessly might I add), you just need to activate it. Hold the clutch down while your at the starting grid while being in 1st gear, when you see go, let off the clutch and press the gas (as you would in real life) and there you go. If you see your in neural (a sign your in clutch mode) that means you, in a sense, stalled an need to off the gas, put stick in neutral, press clutch all the way, and go into gear.
Second, if you want to map the buttons for this wheel (g27), go to options/steering contollers/driving force pro. It uses the same mapping. Also note that the red buttons on the wheel act as 1 button (on both sides) they are not individual buttons. Watch some yutube vids on dissasmbling the wheel, youll see.
I hope this helps people and makes them love the wheel again. PS: This is the best wheel by far.

So which buttons are the left and right red buttons on the G27 wheel showing up as in the options for the Driving Force GT Wheel?
I agree completely that the G27 wheel feels 100 times better, but I don't want to spend a few hours figuring out which buttons are which.
Thanks for your help with the clutch though. It occasionally caught me off-guard before.
Still loving GT5, just want to get my e-brake re-assigned to the right red buttons on the G27!
