I got my logic F540 about 2 months ago & have loved it for the most part, sound is great (wish it was surround, but close enough I guess), and up until about a month ago it worked just as it is supposed to. However, as of the last month it does not appear to work for voice chat any longer. I have not damaged the headset or changed how I was using it, my xbox 360 seems to just not recognize it is plugged into the controller anymore. I have tried everything I can think of with xbox 360 console settings, adjusting the volume rollers, etc. It also no longer shows the mic symbol on the screen when playing Black Ops For a week or so it showed the mic symbol, but would not show when I was talking & friends could not hear me, but I could hear them. I am really at a loss. Oh I should also mention, I can hear myself when I talk through the headset like normal, but no one else hears me. Also, the headset seems to work fine when I connect to my pc through and use it as my telephone.
My only thoughts are that either something inside the headset has malfunctioned or the 2.5mm cable to connect to the xbox 360 controller is faulty. If anyone has had similiar issues or has a good idea on how to fix this, please help! Product shouldnt be broken less than a month & a half after buying it for $125 or whatever it was.
Thanks in advance,
Justin

Hello Sparxx233,
Since the F540 is working as expected on the PC this would indicate the issue is caused by the connections or settings when using the Xbox. Please review the connections and settings using the link below.

hi Sparxx233,
I had the same issue with my F540, and the problem was the 2.5 mm cable. It was internally damaged. I replaced the cable and problem dissapeared.

Where would I buy this cable? I think I may have the same problem. I use my headset for Xbox and it works well, except my outgoing chat doesn't work. I hear everything clearly with the cable plugged in, though my outgoing chat doesn't register and my friends can't hear me. But when I unplug the cable, the chat goes back to being muffled slightly in the background like it always is.

I have also experienced the same problem with the 2.5mm cable. Where were you able to purchase another cable ?

Hello
Please check :
-
With the console powered on, press the Xbox Guide button (the "X" in center of pad).
-
Navigate to Settings > Preferences > Voice.
-
At the top of the screen, set the volume level to "10".
-
Select "Play through headset" under Voice Output.

I have already gone through the Settings process as well as unplugging everything and routing it the way the diagram shows off your website for Xbox360 install. Still, I am not able to communicate with other players. But everything else seems to be working.

thisexact same thing is happening to me. I already purchased a replacement 2.5 mm male to male audio cable, and unfortunately it did not resolve this issue. The mic is fine, the other headsets work for the controller, however the port for the plug is still not recognizing audio all of a sudden. I'm going to contact customer support. I didn't pend 150$ only have this thing break within a year
