Sounds like the same problem I'm having which is actually the brakes sticking slightly on. This is caused by the pedal potentiometers being worn out.

The same happened with my G27 pedals. At first, I modified (shortened) the small return spring around the poteniometer and that worked for a bit. It happened again last month and this time I have swapped the brake pedal with the clutch pedal. So now everything is fine, but I know that eventually, it will happen again.
I think that next time around I will replace the potentiometer, assuming I can find the correct on online.
It is a tad annoying though. I mean, I love my G27, but I find that I am forever having to fix the blooming thing. I suppose I should be thankful that they are not sealed, and therefore unserviceable units...
