I've just purchased a new R800 and note the laser is not a direct pin point.

When directed toward the wall, close and a fair distance away, it gives a star burst, spray effect around the laser dot.  It can at times give straight lines out from the dot and spray effect surrounds.  When directed toward the television, if has the single laser dot, but show the spray in reflection on bright spots in the picture and if pointing close to the edge of the TV frame it shows the full spray again.

I wiped the laser eye and this has had no affect to the clarity.

Please tell me if this is a faulty item.  I expected a perfect laser point without distortion or spray.  Have others experienced this issue with the R800 Presenter?  I would appreciate any feedback.
