How is your PS3 connected to your PC?
Connect the PS3 to the TV via HDMI.
Then connect this cable to your PS3
Then insert the RED and WHITE into one of these (the yellow can be left alone, it's not needed)
Then connect that to a Microphone/Line-IN port on your computer.
Then go into Recording Devices inside Windows, select the device the PS3 cable is plugged into and enable "Listen to this device" selecting your G930/G35 as the playback device.
Turn on your PS3, enable audio output via the AV cables with video by the HDMI, and enjoy your G930's audio.

The sound will come from the PS3 in Stereo, then your G930 should up it to 7.1 surround. The quality was fine for me.
If you've got a soundcard with SPDIF IN you can link up the PS3 to your computer (same method, just no adapter and optical cable instead) you should be able to get true 7.1 in crystal clear quality from the PS3.
