H600 skype problem

My H600 wireless headset/mic works ok when I test it in Skype using the Echo tester service (I can record my voice & hear my voice plaback).

 

But when I make a skype call then I cannot hear the other side (other side can hear me). If I switch to other audio source (external speakers) then both can hear each other.

Go into Skype.

 

>> Tools

>> Options

>> Audio settings

 

Check that the microphone and speakers are set to use the Logitech headset.

 

If that doesn't work, probe around in the Windows sound settings.

skype audio setting is set to H600 (thats how the Echo test worked).

 

windows audio settings are all set to H600.

 

The problem still exists.

I suspect a subtle conflict somewhere in Windows sounds.

 

I have Skype set to the H600 for what it does.

 

 

In Windows, my default Playback device is speakers. Recording is Logitech Wireless Headset.

 

 

If Echo worked in both directions, and your headset works as expected outside Skype, check that the person at the other end of the call has the right settings.
