Hi - I want to use my Logitech H800 Headset with Bluetooth; not the USB dongle, but can't get my laptop (Windows 7, 64 bit) to recognise the microphone. I paired the headset & can listen to music; under sound options/ recording the Bluetooth mic is listed, but is shown as disconnected & I'm not given the option to enable or connect it. Instead, the built-in mic on the laptop (Realtek) is connected & shown as the default device.
Oddly when I look at sound/ playback Bluetooth headphones are shown as the default device & the Bluetooth headset is shown as disconnected... But when I look at the devices connected to the computer, the headset is shown, but no headphones?!
I've been trying for hours & am getting really frustrating! Can anyone help?

Try the following:
Also try disabling the built-in microphone, for the computer to only recognize the H800 headset microphone.

Hi, I bought the same headset 3 days ago and I am having the exact same issue.
Bluetooth mic is not working.
I also don't have a USB to spare for the dongle. I already have a logitech unifying receiver for my trackball and it seems the h800 will not pair with it so I need to be able to use the Bluetooth mic.
Thanks for any help. If I don't get this resolved in a couple days I will have to return them

My default mic is disabled.
The bluetooth mic shows as disconnected and will not connect.
The headset shows as paired and I get sound but the mic is not working.
I am not using any applications.
I am just trying to get the mic recognized in win 7 sound playback and recording manger.

The Wireless Headset H800 uses a Nano receiver that's why you're unable to pair it with the trackball Unifying receiver.
