G-Series Gaming Keyboards

I have an older G15 gaming keyboard and tried to download the software.  For some reason, I click the download button and nothing happens, no error or message.

I am using a brand new gaming computer w.windows 7.

Anyone have any idea what my issue might be?

download from the Logitech site.  It gives me the blue download software button but does not click.

try downloading from the ftp site instead then:

ftp://ftp.logitech.com/pub/techsupport/gaming

I need to download the software for my 930 headset and my g13 keyboard, but my problem is the same as the OP. (Click on download at the product page and at the link in the provided in the forum, but nothing happened.)  I went to the FTP site, but did not know which of the two gaming pad 13s I needed to download the jpn or the multi.  I did not see anything like my 930s listed there.

Any help?  thanks

If you are using IE9, you may experience a download issue. Please try a different browser or use compatibility view. The issue should be resolved shortly. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/How-to-use-Compatibility-View-in-Internet-Explorer-9

Thanks for your reply.  In my foggiest part of the night, I managed to find the g930 program in the FTP and it is working fine now - not stuck in the avatar voices with no apparent escape after rebooting, recovery and finally success with re-installing!

I can not get my g13 to do anything except display G13 in large letters.  After it would not recognize any profiles, or find any edits or newly created profiles and the restart and recovery did not work on it either, I confidently uninstalled it thinking I would merely have to d/l the software and march on.  And now I am in compatibility issues, and facing the use of a different browser for the first time.  I just never thought I'd face compatibility issues between Microsoft and Logitech.  I'm sure they have heard of each other, I mean all three of us live in the same state!  I'm just blocks away from Logitech..  Maybe I could walk over there and ask around in the parking lot if they've heard of Microsoft - I'm just certain they have.  I was tossed when I selected win 7 from the drop down menu and then was asked to select my OS and given the same drop down menu - over and over again.  My device manager cannot find any new devices even though I uninstalled the g13 and it is still not listed in the programs and features window of the control panel.  All of the HID compliant devices are using the latest drivers.  But yet, there it is... mocking me with its incessant, even gleefully bright, full mini-screen display of G13!

Not sure what to do even if I find out, or should I say confirm, they are not compatible...  Why can't computers just compute instead of dragging the unwilling into the dark hole of guessing why they can't just talk it over and solve it for themselves?

ok - I stepped back for a moment and concentrated very hard on overcoming my senior moment, and I did - download a success!

But why did I have to click the compatibility view icon?  Did the two computers not figure out that compatibility was an issue? ah well - cars had manual crank handles under the radiator in the front of the car for many years after starters were invented...  I'm holding out for when computers solve these issues amongst themselves.
