while suggestions posted on this forum do often find their way to the development staff, there is generally no acknowledgement that this has happened, and it is the policy of the Logitech staff to not comment on features that are planned (or even discussed internally) for future software releases.

so don't expect a comment from Logitech on this, except possibly a "we have forwarded this to engineering", which we do see from time to time.

as a professional software developer, I understand why you think this is easy (and at a certain level, it is easy) but in my experience "easy" isn't generally a significant factor in deciding which features to spend valuable (and limited) developer time on.  as an observer on these forums for quite some time, I don't think this feature will be added to the software anytime soon.  certainly not in the next release, anyway.

I happen to agree with you that this would be a nice feature, and it's not particularly difficult to implement from a technical perspective, but I don't expect Logitech to act on this suggestion this year and I advise you not to get your hopes up on this either.
