hi community!
about a week ago I purchased a G105-keyboard, installed the software and things were quite all right. today somethng weird happened, though: whenever I hit the "i"-key it automatically activates the "caps-lock"-key - and pressing "esc" brings a capital "T" to the text. these are confirmed and repeatable, there might be others that I have not yet detetcted.
now I was in hurry writing an e-mail and might well have hit a weird key-combination which might be responsible for these bewildering occurences.
I have tried the following steps:
- reinstall the latest driver -> no changes
- uninstall the driver - > no changes
- completely uninstalled the set-point software -> no changes
- replugged my veteran keyboard to be able to post here
what I cannot do presently is to try the G 105 with another computer to check whether problem persists there
if any kind soul could shed a bit of light into this dark mystery I would be truly grateful
cheers + best
ahasver
ps: we all know that 85% of the problems are in front of the screen, but since it#s a keyboard...

You arent the only one, what country are you in? I'm in australia and purchased mine through a dealoftheday deal combined with a g9x which works fine.
I've tried the g105 on another computer and it throws up exactly the same problem. I've even tested it in linux.
Pressing "i" activates capslock, pressing "0" presses enter.
Seriously this is whack, I find it interesting that you and I both have exactly the same problem with this keyboard. There are a lot more problems with the keys than just what i've started.
Bad manufacturer batch?
I'll be returning mine.
Could logitech please confirm this?

This sounds like
A) something wrong with the matrix (Either misalignment OR a crossed circuit somewhere)
and
B) Something that should be covered by Warranty
That's odd that there are two identical ones though.
