G-Series Gaming Keyboards

I have a G11. I love it, it works great... Except sometimes, it will just randomly start adding an F-key that I never programmed to a macro sequence. For example: when I press G7, it is supposed to do a series of events (which are F4, 6, D)... But instead, it's doing F7, F4, 6, D (that first F7 should not be in the sequence). It's always the same F-key that coinsides with the G-key (G-1 adds an unwanted F-1, G2 adds and unwanted F-2, etc, etc.)

I have tried switching the USB ports as one other post suggested, but no luck.  I have latest drivers, for the correct OS (Vista-64).

It works most of the time... but then it randomly acts up out of nowhere, and I never know what I dot hat makes it go back to normal.

Any help would be great. Thanks.

I'm having a similer probliem.  My G keys are functioning like the default setup g1-12 = f1-12 and g13-18 = #1-6 along with doing what ever macro is placed on them. When I removed the gaming software the G keys still produced their default strokes?!

G-keys don't do anything unless the software is running.  if you removed the software and they're still working, it means you had a second copy of the software installed that was *also* running.

when you upgrade to a newer version, the installer is supposed to detect older versions and remove them.  but if you downgrade to an older version I doubt the installer would be able to handle this -- in such a case your best bet is to manually uninstall.

My G-keys acted as F keys when the software was unsinstalled also. When I first plugged in the keyboard, G 1-12 = F 1-12.


But that aside, does anybody know how to fix the issue int he original post?

Same problem (I posted about it earlier with no responses). It seems to behave intermittantly...sometimes it works right (so probably not hardware). I think it may have something to do with switching in and out of the game.

I was having that same issue but what worked for me is closing ('Xing') out of the Logitech Gaming Software itself thus sending it back to your hidden icons/taskbar.  Then ingame (for me SWTOR), switching from M1 to M2 and back to M1.  Then the macros were all working.  No need to add delays in between down and up keys either.  Works great.
